What is a cleansing, toning and moisturising routine?
Remove any heavy make up with Jojoba by wiping your skin with some jojoba applied to cotton wool, a microfiber or tissue. Then gently cleanse the skin using a fine Lotion (Cleansing Lotion) again apply some to cotton wool a tissue or microfiber. Finally tone with our Rose Otto Hydrolat or a Orange Flower Hydrolat.
We recommend that you do that by using totally natural products that contain no unnecessary chemicals.
Our Jojoba is organic and a totally natural product. Jojoba mimics sebum and is a must for any skin regime. In this process it is used to remove heavy makeup and is the first step in the process. Because the structure of jojoba oil so closely resembles natural sebum, it can actually trick the skin into producing less natural sebum, which, unlike jojoba, can clog pores. Jojoba oil may help treat acne, both by reducing sebum production and by protecting the skin from harmful bacteria.
Our Cleansing lotion will cleanse and nourish at the same time. use it to remove fine make up. It is Cosmos Certified Organic and Fragrance Free. It is a ready to use base that contains Certified Organic Aloe Vera, Certified Organic Sunflower, Coconut & Apricot Kernel Oils enriched with Certified Organic Shea Butter.
Our Rose Otto Hydrolat again is totally natural and organic. It is fabulously refreshing and revitalising
Cleansing is the first step and this helps to remove dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin, to unclog pores, and remove dead skin cells. Cleansing also helps to prepare the skin for the next steps in the routine, making it more receptive to toners and moisturisers.
Toning is the next step in this three step process and this helps to restore the skin’s pH balance. When the skin’s pH is off, this can cause dryness, sensitivity, and even breakouts. By applying toner to restore the pH balance of the skin, the skin can become more resistant to external damaging factors, while also tightening pores, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Moisturising. Well moisturised skin appears plumper, smoother and more youthful and regular moisturising can prevent dryness, flakiness, and other signs of aging. Moisturising can also help to protect the skin from environmental factors that can damage it, such as pollution and harsh weather conditions.
What are the advantages of a cleansing, toning and moisturising routine?
Healthy skin – This is because our products work together to remove impurities, balance the pH of the skin, and keep it hydrated. This means that your skin is less likely to develop problems such as acne, dryness, and wrinkles.
Maintaining a more youthful appearance – Ageing is a natural process it is accelerated by factors such as pollution and smoking. You can protect your skin from these external factors and prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
Improving skin texture– Will improve the texture of the skin by removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores. This will make the skin appear smoother and more radiant.
Moisturising can also help to improve the texture of the skin by plumping it up and filling in fine lines and wrinkles.
Reducing the chance of skin problems- some skin problems are caused by clogged pores and the build-up of oil, dirt and bacteria on the skin, a cleansing, toning and moisturising routine to keep the pores clean.
