Important Safety Notes for when you use Pure Essential Oils
Essential oils are powerful concentrated substances distilled or extracted from plants and should always be treated with great care.
When using pure essential oils please adhere to the following guidelines.
- Always keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not apply undiluted oils directly onto the skin.
- Avoid any contact with the eyes or mouth.
- Pure Essential oils should never be taken orally.
- If the oil is splashed onto any sensitive areas of the skin rinse off immediately.
- Pure Essential Oils are flammable and should be kept away from naked flames.
- Always dilute Pure Essential Oils as guided. Normally between 1 and 3 percent in a vegetable oil, cream or lotion base.
- Do not confuse Pure Essential Oils with adulterated or synthetic oils.
- Your Pure essential oil supplier should be able to tell you the precise origin of the oil and supply a batch number if required.
- Do not apply Pure Essential oils to open cuts or broken and damaged skin.
- In baths only ever use a few drops at a time and it is best not to use the citrus oils, they can be very harsh on the skin, especially if you are sensitive. Never use more than one drop with young children.
- Pregnancy. Do not use pure essential oils whilst pregnant. Always seek expert advice.

- Parsley herb oil (Petroselenium crispum)
- Pennyroyal oil (Mentha pulegium)
- Savin oil (Juniperus sabina)
- Tansy oil (Tanacetum vulgare)
- Wintergreen oil (Gaultheria procumbens)
- Wormwood oil (Artemisia absinthium)
