Description

Rosemary – Certified Organic

INCI: Rosmarinus officinalis Leaf Oil

Country of Origin: Spain / France

 10ml

SKU 0506

A few drops in a warm bath or added to aromatherapy massage blends deliver a reviving effect to the whole body. This essential oil has enjoyed a reputation for improving memory since ancient times.

“Whilst studying for my degree in the 1980's I successfully used Rosemary to aid concentration and memory function. I even used it in examinations to good effect. Of course, I still use it today.”

Uses

In skin care, Rosemary Essential Oil strengthens the capillaries and works to regulate excessive oiliness, whilst its antibacterial properties help cleanse pimples.

Always a good choice for muscular and joint problems.

  • Analgesic
  • Protective
  • Restoring
  • Refreshing
  • Reviving
  • Stimulant - nerves and mental
  • Tonic

It blends well with lavender and marjoram for muscular aches and pains.

How to Use Rosemary

For Study

  1. Whilst studying, put a few drops onto a tissue and have it close by so that you can smell it and inhale the vapour given off.

  2. Or have an oil burner working with water in the bowl, and add a few drops to that. Again, have it close to you so you can smell it.

  3. In an exam situation, put some on a tissue or directly on your clothes (it may stain, though)

In a diffuser: Add 4–6 drops to your diffuser with water. Run for 30–60 minutes to fill your space with natural aroma.

Topical application: Dilute 2–3 drops in 10ml of a carrier oil such as our Organic Jojoba Oil. Apply to pulse points, temples or the area of concern for general wellbeing. Always patch test before first use.

In the bath: Blend 4–6 drops with a tablespoon of carrier oil, then add to warm running water for a therapeutic aromatic soak.

For massage: Add 12–18 drops per 30ml of carrier oil (2–3% dilution) for a therapeutic full-body massage.

Blends well with: Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lemon.

Further reading: Learn how Rosemary can support focus and memory during exams.

Safety: For external use only. Always dilute before skin application. Not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy without professional advice. Keep away from children and pets.
