Description

Thyme Linalool | Certified Organic

Thymus zygis Linn.

Country of Origin: Spain

SKU 0120

also known as "Sweet Thyme," is the mildest and most gentle chemotype of thyme essential oil, prized for its use in skincare, daily immune support, and calming aromatherapy. It has a warm, sweet, and herbaceous aroma, making it suitable for sensitive skin and children when properly diluted.

Uses

Thyme linalool essential oil is a versatile "gentle healer" with various applications.

  • Gentle Antiseptic & Skin Care: It has natural purifying and antiseptic properties that make it an excellent choice for treating acne, dermatitis, eczema, and minor wounds without causing irritation. It can be a beneficial addition to facial toners and cleansers.
  • Immune & Respiratory Support: It acts as a natural stimulant for the immune system, useful during seasonal illnesses, coughs, colds, and flu symptoms. When diffused or used in steam inhalation, it helps clear congestion and encourages clear breathing.
  • Nervous System Tonic: The oil acts as a neurotonic, helping to calm the nervous system and is beneficial for treating stress, anxiety, nervous exhaustion, and fatigue.
  • Household Use: Its germ-fighting properties make it an effective natural ingredient for DIY cleaning solutions and air purification, helping to combat airborne germs and mold.
